A rubber tree plant
On the way back from Cu Chi, we stopped at a rubber tree plantation to take pictures. At one point I turned to the guys after touching the sap and exclaimed "wow! It's just like rubber!"....to which they all informed me....."that's because it is!" It was my Jessica Simpson moment. I probably didn't help things when I got back on the bus and told Lisa with all sincerity: "the sap is actually rubber?!" It got a good laugh and I felt a little naïve.....but it was fun. And whatever readers.....I bet you didn't know that either! ;-)

I confess. I also did not know the sap was rubber. But it makes sense, because where else would the rubber come from....
